In May 2022, Peter Kasputis, a beloved member of the Norwood community, formerly Roslindale and JP, suffered a rare brain abscess that resulted in a stroke. Following his injury, Peter spent months in the ICU, then in a rehabilitation facility. Like many individuals recovering from neurological injury, he faces an uphill battle in his recovery. His stroke and injury have resulted in Peter’s inability to work, support his family, even participate in everyday activities he used to love.

On Saturday, February 24, 2024, friends and family are getting together to help raise money for the Kasputis family so they can get the best medical care and rehabilitation for Peter. Helping raise money will allow Peter to focus on his rehab and get him strong again.

Peter lives in Norwood, Massachusetts with his wife Kari and their daughter Keely who is a Junior on the Women's Ice Hockey team at the University of New England.
